Week 6: Rock Shrimp Productions

As i have spent more and more time here at Rock Shrimp Productions I have gotten a new sense of comfort amongst my colleagues. It has been a very cool aspect as to what my role and interactions in my eventual professions will behold.

Along with the more time I have spent here, I have been delegated more substantial responsibilities for the company. Yesterday I had to go through shoots of "Beat Bobby Flay" and write down every ingredient (and the amount) along with his method of preference. This was in order to fill-out a form that would be uploaded to the FoodNetwork's website in order for subscribers to see their favorite recipes.

In addition to these added Duties I have been given the opportunity and privilege to get to oversee the LinkedIn and Facebook pages associated with RockShrimp Productions and Bread&Butter post (the sister company) under the tutelage of Shai-the head of Marketing. It has been an interesting process to see what she does on a daily basis and on how she goes about the recruiting process.

I met with the head of finance, Tiara, to discuss the importance of RockShrimp Productions creating a website. I told her my belief that it brings an unparalleled sense of legitimacy as well as a great recruiting tool for potential clients.

Hopefully my work here and my future plans here will help the company as a whole, nonetheless my voice is being heard here at RockShrimp and it feels good to know I am contributing!
