Blog 5: Coming to a Close

Most all of the interns including myself had our last day in the office on Friday. Our boss decided that this year he was going to throw us an intern appreciation party at his beach house in San Diego. My boss put me in charge of planning the party bus, food and all the activities for the day. We all meet at the office in our casual beach attire which was a dramatic change from our normal business attire. Soon after a 40 person party bus pulled up and we loaded all of our goodies and headed down south. Everyone was so excited to be out of the office and have a fun day together. It was great to hang out with some of the interns that I really bonded and connected with before we all left for school. We got down to the beach and it was a beautiful clear day. Our boss and his family greeted everyone and the party began! We started with a delicious taco truck and had a awesome live singer named Nate. Once the sun went down we all gathered on the beach for a bon fire and smores! This was the perfect end to an awesome internship with great company.

  1. You're really fortunate that your boss would go out of his way to reward and thank you for your effort over the summer. If there is anything I have learned from my experiences it is that your bosses often really appreciate the work you're doing.
