Week 8: Final Post

This has been a wonderful experience that has taught me the proper work ethics and skills to be successful in the professional work force. From being a Project Manager for a project , I was able to lead others and learn the responsibilities of a team leader. As a Project Manager, I prepared my research information to present to the team and lead engaging discussions to help drive the work towards a positive result.

It has been a constant learning process throughout this summer and has provided me with valuable resources and knowledge. This experience has helped me identify my strengths, but most importantly my weakness which I will be improving for the future. I learned a lot about the health industry through the various speakers and visits to medical facilities in New York City. This internship has opened me up to a whole new industry that I never knew much about before. As a result, I hope to continue to explore various industries in hopes to help decide what industry I may in the future potentially work in.

It has been an amazing journey at FindCancerServices and a valuable summer experience that has shown me more than I could ever ask for. My co-workers were amazing mentors along with my employers. Each day at the internship was a fun and productive environment to be a part of that made the summer fly by. FindCancerServices was my first step into the professional world and I hope it will be the stepping stone to even greater experiences in the future.
