Week 3 at Hollywood Life

Hello!
I am just completing my third week here at HollywoodLife and its really been a great experience. I complete the same tasks every day but it doesn't get boring. I get to work my 8:30 and leave at around  5:30-6ish. My boss usually lets us leave early which is really nice. When I get to work, my boss usually sends me a story to write up within the first hour of work and then I am off to blogging! I really like blogging and I do not intend to be a journalist when I am older. At first I thought using WordPress was hard, but now I totally got the hang of it and write an easy 6-7 blogs a day. There are other interns that work with me who I really like so I am happy I have made some friends during work. Today during my lunch break I am going to go to a sample sale in the Chelsea Market which I am also excited about. Also, my boss told us next month all of the interns that work for HollywoodLife will be having an afternoon bowling session where we can all get to hang out after work. I thought that was a really nice thing they are planning for us. Hopefully it will be a fun experience.

Here are pictures of my office and workspace. The pictures below are of my building, our conference room and one of the background wallpapers in the room where celebs take pictures when they come into the office.

Hope everyone else is enjoying their internships as much as I am.

  1. Hi Morgan,

Sounds like a really interesting internship! What exactly do you blog about? Do you get to work with paparazzi or are you just sent the materials? That's great that you got the hang of Wordpress - I feel like a lot of businesses use Wordpress as their main blogging tool so it's a good skill to have for future endeavors. The bowling outing sounds like a great time, how many other interns work at HollywoodLife?

    Best of luck!
