Week 4 at HollywoodLife

Hello everyone!

Hope your internships are treating you well. Last week was my fourth week at HollywoodLife and I am still extremely enjoying my internship. There have been more interns that have come in the past few weeks so the work load is getting a bit slower because my boss has to split the stories between all of us. However, it is totally fine because when I am not working I will do work for my online class I am taking or keep busy online. Last week, the interns and I went for a lunch break together at a good salad place near by which was fun! I write about four stories a day and when there weren't as many interns in my department working with me I would write about 7 a day. I really like my job and I hope that I will attend another event at my time here in HollywoodLife because I really enjoyed the first one I went to and thought interviewing celebs was a pretty cool experience!

I can't believe I only have 4 more weeks left working here. I have learned a lot and I am glad I have been doing real work here. Not once on this internship have I had to make a coffee run or run an errand. I also love how my boss is super cool. She lets us leave whenever we want for lunch and get coffee breaks whenever as long as the breaks aren't too long!

I'm happy I really love it here. Hope you guys do too!

Check out some of my latest articles I have written belong and comment or vote. Thanks!

Hope you guys enjoy them!

  1. Cool! It must be awesome to see your byline and think about how many people are reading it.

Do you know if Hollywood Life has photographers following the celebrities? Or does the company hire freelance photographers? It's interesting to me how you capture all of these events from celebrities' lives when they're traveling all over the world.

  2. That is so awesome that you are able to write your own articles and visibly see the contributions you are making at Hollywoodlife. I work at Entertainment Tonight and the producer I work with covers similar stories. Enjoy your internship!
