Week 1: Rock Shrimp Productions

I came into work this past Friday for my official first day, but today marks the start of my first full week here at Rock Shrimp Productions. Still no sign of Bobby Flay, but I am still hopeful that he will make his way in here soon enough.
Life inside a production studio has been very interesting and nothing at all like what I had expected. The people here are all very nice and engaging, but far busier than I could have imagined. A lot of my time has been spent going on various runs for people throughout the office, such as today I had to seek out the proper lighting for the set of "Beat Bobby Flay" ( is pretty cool to say I "lit" the show).
Besides from the manual labor I have been doing, I have been able to spend time with the head of marketing, Shai. This is great because marketing definitely coincides with my primary interests. It is really early in my internship but still Shai has given me the responsibility of trying to "buffer up" the Rock Shrimp Facebook page and try to come up with a proper layout for the soon-to-be developed website. Exciting Stuff!!
Even though it is really early in the summer I can safely say that I am grateful for my opportunity here at Rock Shrimp Productions and I am looking forward to what the future holds for me. From taking to my supervisor things are about to get a lot more hectic when we start the filming-right now we have been compiling a dual-kitchen. So far, so good !!
